The Children’s Village at Bearded Theory is one of the best around, centred around a very colourful Village Green!

The Village on the Friday is taken over by Bearded Theory’s Festival School, running from 9am-3pm and providing a huge itinerary of fun educational classes meeting key stage criteria, ensuring children attending the festival don’t miss out on their learning while their families don’t miss the festival! The school has featured everything from; maths (how to budget a music festival), P.E classes by Derby County FC, Sublime Science, English, History and loads more. At previous festivals, the Children’s Village has featured everything from Mini First Aid, giving attendees the chance to learn more about AWARD WINNING informal Baby and Child First Aid class designed especially for parents, carers and grandparents, to a pop-up Library, poetry tent, Creative Intentions Café offering both vegetarian/vegan food at child friendly prices/portions, and a chill out area with games and a small acoustic stage.

In The Kids Village this year, Creative Intentions are Chuffed to bits to take the reins for 2023 and can’t wait to welcome you under its New Arches! Working with Janet and her fabulous team, over the years has been an absolute joy.

We’ll continue to bring you a marvelous bunch of talented, creative, friendly folks to keep your little cherubs happy and engaged! Expect Quality workshops and Gregarious Games, laughter, fun and a hearty bucket of silliness. It’s all here, with a packed program of It’s-A-Knock Out competition! The Mad-hatters tea party! Old school sports day! Circus skills and performances.

Show off your skills, swap some tricks, Take part in the talent show, Type up some tunes, Dance til you drop or get messy in the craft zone, lots of opportunity to make and take… from hats and wings to Beards and tails! Why not Get your Glam on in the beautification station. Don a costume in our dress up zone and strike a pose in our fashion show and twisted mirrors! You can even take your toddler to the Beach!
