Hello

We have not sent a proper newsletter since the festival and we thought
it might be the right time to touch base with you all.

AIM Music Awards

We have been nominated for the Best Independent Festival Award at the
AIM Music Awards in London. Last year we won this award and we would
like to defend our title for another year. To vote please head over to
http://www.thisisfakediy.co.uk/articles/news/vote-for-your-favourite-festival-at-the-aim-independent-music-awards-2012/
. It will only take a couple of minutes and you stand a chance of
winning two free tickets to the winning festival. That said we will
continue to plod along with or without an award. The voting closes on
September 23rd so be quick!

Bearded Theory 2013

Back to festival news and I am sure you will be pleased to hear that
we will start announcing the 2013 line up on October 26th.

In 2013 we will be adding a funky new bar, locating the disabled area
onto flatter ground, improving the acoustic stage, all children rides
will be separated from the children’s village (so you can avoid it
if you want to), improved campsite facilities including a childrens
play area in the quiet camping area (Angels Camp Site, campsite cafe,
more site art and improving some of the site lay out .

All the Early Bird tickets for the 2013 festival sold out a few months
ago and the standard ticket prices are now on sale. Tickets are
selling well considering the bad weather experienced this summer and
we are hoping to sell out even earlier than last year. Tickets are on
sale via our official ticket partners and for more details please
visit our website http://www.beardedtheory.co.uk/tickets/ (

New Website

Since the festival we have been developing our new website with
Headred in Coventry. We are very happy with the results and you can
view it by going to www.beardedtheory.com

Working with the Local Community

We are proud sponsors of a local child football team and we supported
the club by purchasing a new football kit and training gear totalling
£1000.

End of Season Party

For the second year we are organising the End of Season Party to thank
ticket buyers for their support and it will be hosted at the Heritage
Ball Room in Derby on Saturday October 13th 2012. Bands performing

Doors open at 7pm and the music will finish at 2am.

The Heritage Ball Room is attached to the newly refurbished Metro

night but you must say “Bearded Theory” in able to get the
discount. http://metroinns.co.uk/hotels/derby/book-hotel-derby/

The festival is funding the evening but due to demand the show is
strictly ticket only and tickets are only available on a first come,
first served basis – be quick, only a handful remains!

Tickets are available via www.ticketsellers.co.uk for a nominal amount
of £1 or you can buy a charity ticket for £5 and we will donate the
proceeds to the festivals chosen charity. It should be a great night
and it’s a great way for us to show our appreciation to you for
