AHOY!

The Sunday theme for 2015 is pirates! In addition to our new pirate
logo we have booked a pirate ship for the children’s area which will
play host to a pirate theatre. We want to see you all in your pirate
clobber and 2016 tickets will be given away for the best dressed
pirate people.

Bearded Theory returns to the National Forests idyllic countryside for
our eighth spring festival, all set in the enchanting surroundings of
Catton Park and Woodland, from Thursday May 21st to Sunday May 24
2015.

We are also delighted to have finally wrapped up our PALLET STAGE
billing with punk legend HUGH CORNWELL and his band joining the
Friday; along with ska grime act SONIC BOOM 6 who replace the Skints
due to them cancelling for commitments in the USA. We wish the Skints
well and hope to see them next year. ITCH has moved over to the
Sunday’s billing completing this year’s Pallet line up.

THE WOODLAND line up is now complete. Irish folk band THE EMERALD
ARMADA have joined the Friday line up along with BT favourites BILLY
VINCENT. Up and coming singer songwriter JEMMA JOHNSON has joined
Saturday line up and finalised the day. Finally P.A.I.N have pulled
out for personal reasons but they have been replaced with EASTFIELD on
the Sunday.

2015 is set to be our best yet with the biggest investment into site
art in our history, improved toilets, new access showers, more
permanent and temporary roadways being installed, bigger camping &
campervan fields (check out the map on the General Information page on
the website), the children’s area being free of charge for all
parents for every activity, expanded the bar offering giving more
choice than ever before, improved healing area by the wonderful
Labyrinth Arts, a new mulled wine stall if the evenings are cold,
professional festival parking teams appointed for the campervan and
car park fields, a new solar cinema, a woodland café, more outdoor
seating, a new Main Stage, a new circus, new picnic areas, and a
beautiful wooden stage for the Woodland Stage. We have listened to
what you wanted, addressed what we could afford and we cannot wait to
show you our efforts.

We also welcome back the return of the Channel 4 Shed of the year
winner aka the Disco Shed, the open mic tea tent, free hot serviced
showers, communal campfire, market village, the amazing world food
stalls, Victorian funfair, the red barrow show and loads of weird and
wonderful walkabouts.
