Happy Spring Everyone

You might have seen on our website that last week sadly the Egg was
forced to pull out of headlining Magical Sounds. With that we have
tweaked the offering and Magical Sounds invites you to the inaugural
Sunday Celtic Soundclash. The mighty Peatbog Faeries have replaced the
Egg which also features the stunning Celtic fusion of Shooglenifty, to
be followed by a Celtic Soundclash DJ Changover, 2 acts who merge the
line between traditional musical mastership and cutting edge
electronica brought together through the best rig possible.

Here’s a look at our latest video.

Angel Gardens

Something new for adults and kids in 2013

ADULT ACTIVITIES

Angel gardens will be hosting a number of workshops this year that are
designed for adults as well as older kids. Alongside some amazing
crafts such as felt making, wood turning and soap and cream making,
dance workshops will be held in the white rabbit cabaret tent.
Workshops such as Bollywood, tribal, street dance and belly dancing
will take place daily as well as yoga, meditation and some other weird
and wonderful experiences. All the classes will be taken by qualified
and talented instructors and will be free of charge.

FIRE SHOW

The annual resident fire performers will be showing their skills at
the nightly fire show at 9.30pm Friday and Saturday with the grand
finale on Sunday at 10pm. Anyone wanting to join in the shows (you
need to be insured) please get in touch at angelbrookdesign@aol.com

DUCK RACE

We will be hosting the first ever bearded theory duck race too, 3pm
everyday by the river with the final taking place on Sunday, followed
by the presentation and awards ceremony in the Tornado town tent. You
can bring your own ducks ( no propeller, weights or machinery allowed)
or sponsor one of ours, please register in Angel gardens on arrival.
Money raised from this will go towards the children’s area and will be
spent on materials and equipment for next year’s festival.

CABARET AND TALENT SHOW

We will be holding auditions for folks of all ages daily in angel
gardens, finalists will be invited to perform at the Sunday night
cabaret in The White Rabbit Cabaret. Come down to check out your
fellow festival goers, festival staff and crew as they perform for
you.

Check out the pages of the program for times.

Trolley Tots at Bearded Theory

Following the success of Trolley Tots at last years Bearded theory, we
have invited them back. Trolley Tots hire trolleys for parents to cart
their tots around the festival site. This allows them to leave their
pushchair at home. Kids love riding in them, pulling them, and
sleeping in them, great in the evening!. All trolley hires include
blanket, pillow, and bike lock. Most trolleys also have rain covers.
Trolleys can be Prebooked online at www.trolleytots.com. You will find
them based in the campsite.

Traders & services

This year we have a wide range of food traders, market traders, and
stalls to meet your needs, weather from a wet shave, to a poncho, to a
Curry, to the all-important false beard! We will also have our
festival shop, cash machines, phone charging, coffee shops, and for
your safety & security subsidised lockers.
