Bearded Theory October Newsletter
Hello one and all
We will be releasing the first batch of acts for the Main Stage and the Magical Sounds dance tent on the 26th October via our website and forum. We have a handful of slots left to fill but have various offers flying around to hopefully finalise the line-up. We cannot release all the acts until mid-December due to some restrictions from some of bands and DJs but we feel it’s an absolute belter.
Tornado Town our second stage have already made a couple of announcements which we will bring you up to speed with now. Maroon Town will be headlining the Town on the Friday night due to their reputation of tearing up audiences across the globe and being widely regarding as one of the best dance Ska bands on the circuit; this was evidenced by headlining Brixton Academy’s International Ska Festival earlier in the year. Joining them on stage will be Buster Shuffle following a hugely successful support tour with Dropkick Murphys, Left Step Band, Port Erin, John Robbs post punk outfit The Membranes, the town house band Boot Hill All Stars, Bootscraper, Bakseats featuring ex-The Sea front man Sam, Frenzy and Sunday Driver. Headlining Sunday night will be swamp rockers Gallon Drunk who released their live album ‘The Road Gets Darker From Here’ this summer. Also confirmed are Bristol festival favourites The Zen Hussies, The Caezars, Tankus the Henge, and Steampunkers The Men That Will Not Be Blamed For Nothing feat. Andy Heintz (ex Creaming Jesus) and comedian Andrew O’Neill.
